Join us for a delightful and hands-on in-store workshop designed to unleash your child’s creativity!

Immerse your little ones in a world of creativity and nature with our kids’ workshop! Each child will receive their very own wooden birdhouse to paint and personalize, unleashing their artistic flair. In addition, they’ll embark on a joyful journey of starting their own garden with flowers that produce seeds cherished by birds – a delightful way for them to cultivate their own bird-friendly haven!

This workshop is recommended for children 4 years and older. While younger participants are welcome, we kindly request a parent or guardian’s presence to assist children under 4 years for an enjoyable and safe experience.

• Wooden Birdhouse
• Mini Greenhouse
• Dirt
• Seeds: Sunflower, Marigold, Zinnia, Coneflower
• Mini Popsicle Sticks
• Paint & Brush

*Please note that while a select number of tickets are available online, there are additional tickets available for purchase in-store. Therefore, if a workshop appears sold out online, it does not necessarily mean it is completely sold out. We recommend calling the garden centre to check availability in case there are still spaces left for the workshop you are interested in.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• A parent or guardian must be present with the child(ren) during the entire workshop. At no time are children to be left unattended.
• Workshops are hosted inside the greenhouse. Temperatures can feel similar to outside. Please dress accordingly.
• Payment is required in full at the time of registration.
• The price of each workshop price includes a $5 non-refundable deposit.
  • Therefore, if a registrant cancels, $5, plus applicable taxes, will be subtracted from each original registration fee before the remaining funds are returned.
  • If Canadale must cancel an event (i.e. due to inclement weather, etc.), we will provide refunds in full.
• Please arrive promptly at the scheduled event time you are registered.
• Only those children registered for the workshop will be allowed to participate. Parents or guardians are strongly encouraged to help children as needed.
• We are using materials that can be messy (paint, markers, glue, etc.). Please dress accordingly.
• Public washrooms are available.
