Gardenias are known for their beautifully fragrant elegant white flowers atop glossy dark green leaves. They prefer bright light, but avoid direct sunlight. Keep the soil moist at all times but allow for good drainage. Gardenias enjoy some humidity so they like to be misted occasionally. Gardenias prefer a slightly acidic soil.
