Pet Friendly Houseplants

Keep your furry friends safe by choosing houseplants that are non-toxic to them. These plants will add colour and texture to your home while keeping your cats and dogs safe and happy.

These plant suggestions are technically safe for cats and dogs, but it’s still best to eliminate any temptation and place all houseplants out of your pet’s reach. If your pet does happen to nibble on a plant, even a plant unlikely to cause health issues, make sure to watch them closely for signs of a negative reaction. Just because a plant is non-toxic doesn’t mean it won’t cause a tummy ache if your pet decides to take a bite.

**Plants shown above are not necessarily in-stock. Please call the garden centre to confirm availability.

It is important to do your research prior to introducing a new plant into your home. Our staff are happy to help identify pet-friendly plants upon your next visit.

*If you think your pet has consumed a houseplant that may be toxic, contact your local veterinarian for more information.
